01 Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small values saved by your browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage keeps values on your device for a website feature. They can remember a session, protect a form or preserve a preference. They are not inherently anonymous: a session identifier can be associated with an account.

02 Essential account and security storage

• Website session: mighty_lin2web_session supports sign-in, selected realm and normal account navigation. The current session lifetime is 120 minutes and may be renewed by activity.
• Form security: XSRF-TOKEN is used where required to protect requests against forgery.
• Network protection: Cloudflare may set challenge or bot-protection cookies, including cf_clearance and, depending on the protection used, __cf_bm. They help distinguish legitimate visits from automated abuse. Their expiry depends on the security feature and configuration.

These functions are needed for the requested service or its security. Disabling the related storage may prevent sign-in, form submissions or security verification. Cloudflare describes its cookies in its cookie documentation.

03 Preferences and temporary browser records

When you choose a website language, a locale cookie can remember it across visits until it expires or you remove it. Account preferences may also be held in the session.

Password-reset and verification pages use local storage to remember when a resend request was made and display the resend countdown. Clearing that storage does not remove server-side request limits.

04 Checkout and third-party services

Opening PayPal or Stripe checkout brings you to the provider's payment service, which may use its own storage for authentication, fraud prevention and payment processing. The provider's notice applies there. External community links similarly take you to services with their own policies.

Security verification on a registration or sign-in page may also involve a third-party challenge. The cookies used depend on the feature actually presented to you.

05 Your choices

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser's site-data settings. Removing session data signs you out; deleting preferences may reset your language. Browsers may limit persistent-cookie lifetimes, and expiry information is available in their site-data controls.

This policy is not permission to enable optional advertising or analytics cookies. Where consent is required, it must be obtained before those technologies run. Continuing to browse, by itself, is not consent to optional tracking.
